I graduated from Simmons College in Boston in 2009 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Before starting my private practice, I worked with adolescents, providing individual in-school therapy through Adolescent Counseling Services. I also worked with adults with mental health and substance use disorders in hospital, outpatient and residential treatment settings. These experiences strengthened my conviction that to be properly seen, and to gain or regain a feeling of wholeness, we need to be seen in the context of our environment.
